Children 4-11

We would like to welcome families old and new to share in the progression of the Carr Manor primary campus. Please do keep checking this page for updates on the building works along with news on how the school is growing and the decisions being made.
We see ourselves very much as part of a community and the primary phase of the building will be no different. We will endeavour to ensure that the children in Carr Manor Community School not only see them selves as part of a primary or high school but that of a ‘through school’ where the children and staff support each other regardless of their age or year group.
We are now in the fortunate position to be able to start meeting our new families and welcoming them to our community. We are very much looking forward to meeting you all soon and sharing in this journey together.

Update on the Primary Campus Building Works
Work commenced on site on the 19th March 2012.
When the workmen arrived on site they secured the area and set up CCTV to ensure safety both around the site and on site for the workmen and the local community.
The site manager has spoken to the local community who have all been very supportive of the new build and we are thankful for their patience as the building work continues. The work at present includes excavation works and stripping all areas down to formation over the building footprint area.
In the coming weeks the workmen will continue to clear the site which includes slabs left from the old school building which was demolished six year ago. They will also dig out of the bases to the hall and will build the ramps and stairs.
